Socio-economic trends
Why we monitor socio-economic indicators
We assess and monitor key socio-economic indicators such as population growth and structure, educational qualifications, employment by sector, unemployment rate, and household income in the region.
These indicators help us understand the key socio-economic trends in the region. We use this information to make informed decisions on regional economic development initiatives, including protecting and sustaining natural resources and determining how to fund these initiatives.
